At the end of 2006, I began dabbling in programming and game design, something I've thought about doing since I began playing computer games in while in gradeschool. Within a few hours I had churned out a 2-player version of "Pong," to be shortly followed by "Snake," or formerly known in Q-basic as "Nibbles."
I then took a giant step forward and re-constructed "Tetris." The game's design already pushed the boundaries of ActionScript, the programming language of Macromedia's Flash. Though I started to design two original games, I must wait to learn a more powerful programming language to continue.
