Thomas DeCarlo and Zachary Spicer teamed up again to produce the full-length directing debut for Spicer, in which he also plays a leading role. The story is broken into three, interconnected storylines whose characters are all stuck in their static, small town lives.
The movie was produced in the small town off exit 41 in which both Spicer and DeCarlo were born and raised. In the middle of obtaining their undergraduate degrees, the two spent half a year co-writing the script from their respective schools. The following summer, they returned home and began production, which continued up until the premiere during the last week of their break.
